Louisville residents can get up to $750 rebate toward wildfire mitigation activities

Louisville residents who get approved for the $500 Wildfire Partners rebate can get up to $250 more through Fire Smart Louisville rebate matching.

Eligible actions (for both programs) include: 

• Removing junipers
• Replacing the first five feet of combustible fencing
• Creating 5' of noncombustible space around your home
• Screening vents to block embers
• Clearing burnable clutter under decks
• Protecting the first 6" of exterior walls
