Louisville Hard to Recycle Voucher

Hard-to-Recycle Vouchers Are Still Available!  

Close to half of the Hard to Recycle Vouchers have been claimed! If you are a Louisville resident and have not claimed your voucher, sign up today.

This voucher is a one-time use, $25 voucher for 2026 to Louisville residents to help cover the cost of recycling hard-to-recycle items at Eco-Cycle CHaRM (6400 Arapahoe Road, Boulder).

Please note:

If the total amount of the voucher is not used, any left-over amount not used will not be eligible to be used at a later time. Because of this we encourage you to bring any and all materials at one time to utilize the voucher amount to its fullest.

Commercial Sustainability Rebate Launch

Louisville Businesses, The Commercial Sustainability Rebate Program Information is Live

The Commercial sustainability Rebate program is designed to support business-led investments in waste reduction, energy efficiency, decarbonization, water conservation, and circular economy initiatives while ensuring fairness, administrative efficiency, and measurable environmental outcomes. Proposed projects will be reviewed with a lens enhancing sustainability, preventing or diverting waste, and increasing environmental stewardship.

A total of 10 competitive rebate offerings will be available each year:

  • Five $1,000 rebates
  • Three $5,000 rebates
  • Two $10,000 rebates

The rebate application will be live starting Monday, March 2, 2026.

Come celebrate the Boulder County Recycling Center's 25th anniversary!

The Boulder County Resource Conservation Division is hosting an Open House for self-guided tours of the recycling facility, chat with local sustainability partners, and watch The Lorax (PG) at 10:30 a.m.

Let’s celebrate recycling, community, and speaking for the trees! No RSVP needed. Any questions can be sent to CValenza@BoulderCounty.gov

Rain Barrel Workshop 

Saturday, May 16 @ 3:00 - 5:00 p.m.
Louisville Recreation Center 

KICP and Boulder County’s Resource Conservation Division (RCD) are once again offering free workshops to learn more about how to choose, build, install, and maintain a rain barrel. Participants can request a free 55-gallon rain barrel and installation kits, while supplies last. Registration will open on Monday, March 2, 2026 at 9:00am MST. Filling out the form does not guarantee your space in the workshop – spots will be confirmed via email within a week of registering.

Rain in the forecast? Your sprinklers can take the hint. Thanks to Louisville's partnership with Resource Central, qualifying residents can get a rain sensor at no cost. It automatically pauses watering when it rains and restarts when it dries out. Smart, simple, waterwise.
