Senior Services Thanksgiving Feast

Wednesday, November 19 @ 12 p.m.

Let’s celebrate at our annual Thanksgiving Feast. We supply the main dish, you bring a side dish and plate & utensils. If your last name begins with: A-H, bring a Dessert to share; I-P, bring a Salad to share; Q-Z, bring a Appetizer to share.  This event is free with a suggested donation of $4.50 for people ages 60+; for people who are 59 years old & younger the cost is $17.25.

Brooks Cafe: Serving Weekday Lunch

Brooks Café at the Louisville's Recreation & Senior Center offers a welcoming space for older adults to enjoy affordable, nutritious meals and socialize. Meals are offered Monday-Friday and reservations are required by 1:30pm the day before. To register for a meal, call 303-335-4931 or email pmorgan@louisvilleco.gov.

Resource Talk: Louisville Fire 

Wednesday, 11/12 @ 12:05 p.m.

Louisville Fire Protection District staff will share information about Fire Safety for your home and their CARES program.

Resource Programs

Caregiver Drop-In Appointments

Thursday, November 13 @ 10 a.m. -  2 p.m.
The Boulder County Caregiver Initiative supports caregivers of those 60+ or with dementia. Resource Specialists offer personalized information, referrals, and resources during walk-in hours. Walk-ins are welcome.

Medicare Open Enrollment Assistance 

11/5, 11/12, 11/19 with appointment times at either 1 or 2:30 p.m.

The Medicare Open Enrollment period runs from October 15 - December 7, 2025. The BCAAA SHIP Medicare Counseling program will be offering In-person and virtual appointments to assist with the review of your Medicare Part D or Medicare Advantage plan coverage. In-person appointments will be offered at the Louisville Recreation & Senior Center on Wednesday afternoons in October & November. Pre-registration is required.


Upcoming Events

Holiday Brunch

Wednesday, December 17 @ 10:30 a.m.
Celebrate the holiday season with great food, friends, and fun at the Senior Center. On the buffet, we will have Eggs Benedict, Gluten Free Veggie Quiche, Breakfast Sausage, French Toast Casserole, Hash Browns, Yogurt, Granola, and Strawberries & Blueberries. Bring a dessert to share with your table. Register Online or at the Front Desk. This event is free with a suggested donation of $4.50 for people ages 60+; for people who are 59 years old & younger the cost is $17.25.
