 Mindful Connections: An Afternoon of Mind, Body & SpiritThursday, April 30 @ 1 - 3 p.m. Immerse yourself in an afternoon of mindfulness and holistic wellness. Experience gentle yoga techniques, discover grounding and meditation practices and much more. Bring your crystals and visit our charging station and enjoy relaxing chair or hand massages, a perfect blend of serenity and self-care.  Tuesday, April 7, 4:45 - 6:45 p.m. Experience a delightful dinner at Parma where Northern Italian flavors take center stage. The menu features house-made pastas, artisan pizzas from a wood-fired oven, and fresh mozzarella crafted in-house daily. With its inviting atmosphere, attentive service, and a thoughtfully curated wine list, Parma offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and refined dining. Entrée range: $15-$34, dinner on your own. Resource ProgramsThursday, April 2 @ 1:00 p.m. Fresh Conversations is a nutrition education program for older adults that promotes healthy food and lifestyle to support aging well. Monthly meetings are interactive, including group discussion and goal setting. Participants receive a newsletter for each class based on recent topics and evidence-based nutrition research. Wednesday, April 8 @ 6 - 7:30 p.m. or Thursday, April 16 @ 1:30 - 3 p.m. Medicare Basics Classes, live via Zoom, are designed for anyone wanting to understand Medicare enrollment, plans, benefits, and costs. Our program provides up-to-date, objective information and guidance when comparing and enrolling in Prescription Drug plans (Medicare Part D), Advantage Plans, and information about Supplemental insurance plans (Medigaps). We also provide guidance in the appeal process and information about resources for financial help with Medicare costs. Wednesday, 4/8 @ 1:00 p.m. The Boulder County SHIP (State Health Insurance Assistance Program) Medicare Counselors will be offering in person appointments.
