Join Mayor Leh on Nov. 17 for the State of the City addressThe City will once again partner with the Louisville Chamber to host the State of the City event from 9:30–11:30 a.m. on Monday, November 17 at The Simon, 957 Main Street. Mayor Chris Leh will present an overview of the city’s accomplishments, challenges, and future plans, covering a range of topics including economic development, infrastructure projects, public safety initiatives, and more. This event is free and open to the public but registration is requested. Don't forget to vote by Tuesday, Nov. 4!On their ballot this year, Louisville voters have the opportunity to cast their vote for a City Councilmember for their respective ward as well as on two citywide ballot questions. All eligible voters were automatically mailed a ballot in October. If you haven't already done so, there's still time to vote — but it is too late to return your ballot by mail. You can drop your ballot off at the drop box in front of the Louisville Recreation & Senior Center or at one of the other available drop boxes throughout Boulder County. Our Recreation & Senior Center isn't hosting in-person voting this year, but if you want to vote in person or need a replacement ballot, there are Vote Centers open in Lafayette, Boulder, and Longmont. Learn more about Louisville's two ballot questions and find out who's running for City Council at LouisvilleCO.gov/Elections. |

You can also dispose of leaves in your Republic Services compost bin. |
Hydrant flushingEach year, our operations team rolls up their sleeves and rolls out the hoses to flush out our water system! By utilizing fire hydrants, our team performs what's known as a unidirectional flushing operation. Over time, minerals like rust and sediment can settle inside water lines. By flushing water through the pipes in a specific direction at high speeds, we can wash out those materials. |
