Snow Tubing at Fraser Tubing Hill

Saturday, 1/24 @ 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Enjoy a fun winter day at Fraser Tubing Hill with fast runs, a lift, and mountain views. We’ll stop for lunch afterward (restaurant TBD; lunch not included).

Spanish Conversation Session 1

Wednesdays, 1/14-1/28 @ 2:30 - 3:10 p.m.
In this small-group Spanish conversation class, we will discuss current events, personal narratives, and any other topics of interest that arise during the class. Each session will be different, and students are invited to take this class multiple times.


Ukemi Demonstration

Ukemi: the Art of Falling Safely

Thursdays, 1/8-1/29 @ 8:30 - 9:30 a.m.
Falls are a leading cause of injury across all demographics. In this class, older adults will learn the principles of falling without injury. After finding center through meditation and Japanese yoga, participants will warm up the body with light core exercises and stretches, then practice safe falling on a forgiving matted surface.

Willmaker Legal Seminar

Wednesday, 1/21 @ 1 - 5 p.m.
Complete a will, financial power of attorney, and combined medical directive in one session with attorney Rebecca L. Bennetti. Includes materials, notarization, review, and discussion. Bring $30 for a materials fee.

AARP Smart Driver

Monday,  1/26 @ 1 - 5:15 p.m.
AARP’s half-day class enhances driving skills, promotes crash prevention, and may qualify graduates for auto insurance discounts. Cost: $20 members, $25 non-members, payable at class.

Brooks Cafe: Serving Weekday Lunch

Brooks Café at the Louisville's Recreation & Senior Center offers a welcoming space for older adults to enjoy affordable, nutritious meals and socialize. Meals are offered Monday-Friday and reservations are required by 1:30pm the day before. To register for a meal, call 303-335-4931 or email pmorgan@louisvilleco.gov.
