City Council Special Meeting agenda preview

Tuesday, October 28 | 6 p.m.
City Council Chambers
749 Main Street

Here's a look at what City Council will be discussing this week:

  • Joint meeting with the Planning Commission for Council discussion/direction on potential improvements to the City’s development review process. These improvements would align with the 2025 City Council Work Plan and reflect community and stakeholder input. The intent is to streamline the review process for appropriate projects—particularly subdivisions and Planned Unit Developments (PUDs)—in advance of the comprehensive development code update scheduled to begin in early 2026.

Big things are happening in Louisville—and we want you to join us on the journey!

Louisville's Parks, Recreation & Open Space (PROS) Department is creating a new Guidebook to outline department priorities for the next 10+ years.

The Guidebook includes two related plans:

  • The Long-Range Plan: for Parks, Open Spaces, Recreation & Senior Center, and Coal Creek Golf Course
  • The Trails Master Plan: for trails and trail connections

To get it right, we need to hear from the people who live, work, play, walk, bike, gather, and explore here—that means you. Your input will make sure the Guidebook reflects the diverse interests and evolving needs of the Louisville community.

Join us at the Louisville Recreation & Senior Center on Wednesday, October 29, between either 12:30–2 p.m. or 5–6:30 p.m. for our PROS Guidebook Open House. Talk with staff and consultants to share your ideas and opinions about what the priorities should be for Parks, Open Space, Trails, Recreation & Senior Center, and Golf.
