Here's a look at what City Council will be considering this week:

  • Resolutions to adopt the 2026 Budget and Mill Levy Certification
  • An ordinance adopting the 2024 International Building Code and various other updated international codes and standards.
  • An ordinance that would update the City's Natural Medicine regulations to match State law by changing how the 1,000-foot buffer from schools and childcare facilities is measured.
  • An ordinance that would authorize the sale of a city-owned property to private owners after the property is approved for landmark status.
  • Consideration of nine applications for sponsorship through the Community Events Sponsorship policy.
  • Discussion of community impacts of the federal government shutdown.

Don't forget to vote by 7 p.m. this Tuesday, November 4

On their ballot for the November 4, 2025, Coordinated Election, Louisville voters will have the opportunity to vote for a City Councilmember for their ward and vote on two citywide ballot measures, in addition to other state, county, and school district offices and ballot measures.

Here's what you need to know for Election Day:

  • Louisville's 24-hr ballot drop box is located outside of the Recreation & Senior Center, 900 W. Via Appia Way.
  •  For voter registration, ballot drop-off or replacement, and other services, visit a Vote Center in Lafayette, Boulder, or Longmont.
  • Election results will be available on the Boulder County Elections website.
  • For more information on Louisville City Council candidates and the two citywide ballot questions, visit LouisvilleCO.gov/Elections.
