Don't forget to drop off your fall leaves

The leaf drop-off site at the Lousville Sports Complex will close on November 23. If you haven't opted to compost your own leaves, you can swing by the drop-off site seven days a week between 7:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Just remember to empty your leaves from the bags! Bag disposal is available onsite.

Looking for an alternative to bagging your leaves? Consider using a mulching lawn mower! It’s a great way to add nutrients back into your lawn and saves you the hassle of collecting leaves.

Whatever you do, please don't rake leaves into streets and gutters! This causes buildup in storm drains, which can lead to flooding and add excess nutrients to our streams and lakes. By properly disposing of your leaves, you're helping keep our water clean and our aquatic ecosystems safe!
