Here's a glimpse at what City Council is discussing this week:

• A resolution approving the 2026 Louisville Comprehensive Plan.
• An ordinance amending the Louisville Municipal Code to establish a Wildland Urban Interface (WUI) code for the City to meet the requirements of SB23-166.
• An emergency ordinance authorizing the sale of city-owned property at 1016 Main Street.

*Presentations are informational only. While Council may ask questions and have discussion, no action will be taken. There will be an opportunity for public comment.

City Council considers written and oral comments equally. Email comments to Council received by 3 p.m. the date of the meeting will be included in the Council addendum and provided to each council member prior to the meeting. If you prefer to address Council in person, you may attend the meeting either in person or virtually.

Louisville's new snowplow names announced

We received over 200 suggestions for new names for Louisville's snowplows, and the Youth Advisory Board has narrowed them down to seven winners:

• Snowbi Wan Kenobi
• Yeet the Sleet
• The Fast & The Flurrious
• Plowzilla
• Arnold Snow-zenegger
• Snowprah Winfrey
• Snowtorious B.I.G.
