Celebrate Día de los Muertos

Celebrate Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) with the Louisville Public Library between October 27 and November 2nd. This Mexican holiday, which originated with the beliefs and traditions of Indigenous people and later blended with Spanish influences, celebrates the lives of the deceased and honors their memories. Visit the visual display ofrenda in the library lobby to see its beautiful symbols, traditions, and imagery. You can also add your own memory of a beloved relative, friend, or pet on a special card.

The Hollow, a teen space at the Louisville Public Library, showcasing a unique design and inviting atmosphere.

We’re Award-Winning!

We are delighted to share some exciting news: The Hollow at the Louisville Public Library has received the Colorado Association of Libraries Innovative Spaces Award!

This special recognition celebrates creative, community-driven library spaces—and The Hollow is just that. Designed by teens, for teens, this cozy corner of the Library was imagined by our incredible Teen Volunteer Council. Their vision? A welcoming space where young people feel seen, heard, and truly at home.

We’re also deeply grateful to the Louisville and Superior residents who donated furnishings to help bring this dream to life.

Curious about The Hollow? Stop by and see what all the buzz is about—we’d love to show you around!
