Following a competitive nationwide recruitment process, Louisville City Council members voted unanimously last week to select Diana Langley as Louisville's next city manager, subject to contract negotiation.
"I am honored to have been selected by the City Council as Louisville's City Manager and am eager to serve the community," said Langley, "Louisville is known for its rich history, charm, and strong civic engagement, and I look forward to working alongside the City Council and staff to continue Louisville's tradition of being a great place to live."
A committee comprised of Louisville Mayor Chris Leh and Council member Judi Kern is currently working with the City Attorney to negotiate a contract with Langley. Once a contract is negotiated and approved, the City Council will announce a start date for the new city manager.
