Extended Application Timeline: Commercial Sustainability Rebate

The City of Louisville’s Commercial Sustainability Rebate (CSR) is still available to all Louisville businesses.   

We have decided to extend the rebate applications until Friday, August 7, 2026 

If you are a Louisville business, have a sustainability minded project, and need some funding to make it happen, consider the Commercial Sustainability Rebate.  

The program is designed to support business-led investments in waste reduction, energy efficiency, decarbonization, water conservation, and circular economy initiatives while ensuring fairness, administrative efficiency, and measurable environmental outcomes. Proposed projects will be reviewed with a lens enhancing sustainability, preventing or diverting waste, and increasing environmental stewardship. 

A total of 10 competitive rebate offerings is available: 

  • Five $1,000 rebates 
  • Three $5,000 rebates 
  • Two $10,000 rebates 

Application Timeline 

  • March 2, 2026: Application opens 
  • August 7, 2026: Application closes 
  • August 10-14, 2026: Review of applications 
  • August 17, 2026: Awards made and awardees notified

Wyoming-Colorado Regional Job Fair April 30

Register for the WYCO Job Fair Today!

The partnership of the Colorado Rural Workforce Alliance, AD Works!, Pueblo, Fremont, Adams, Mesa, Denver, Boulder, Broomfield, Jefferson, Larimer, and Weld Counties in Colorado, and the Laramie and Cheyenne Workforce Centers in Wyoming, will be holding the next Wyoming and Colorado Regional Job Fair on April 30.

In-person events will be taking place from 10-1 p.m. and virtual events will be taking place from 12-4 p.m.

There is no cost to attend!

This will be a hybrid event, which means that there will be a virtual and 8 in-person job fairs going on simultaneously. Employers can be registered for multiple events, be sure to follow the instructions for proper registration.

Business Beat Recap: Here's What You Missed

In March, city staff and local business owners met to discuss and explore available resources to support businesses in Louisville. The Economic Vitality team provided guidance on how to navigate these resources, while attendees had the opportunity to identify and pursue support options tailored to their specific projects, challenges, and goals.

The Business Assistance Program (BAP) provides rebates, approved by the City Council, for businesses locating or expanding within Louisville.

Types of City rebates available include:

  • Building Permit Fees
  • Construction Use Tax
  • Sales Tax
  • Consumer use Tax
  • Enhanced Assistance
  • Vacancy Bonus

What's in it for businesses:

  • State income tax credits and sales and use tax exemptions for specific business investments.
  • Local governments and nonprofits may establish contribution projects to support economic development goals.
