Louisville now located in Enterprise ZoneAs of January 1, 2026, a majority of Louisville is now located within the North Metro Enterprise Zone. What's in it for businesses: - State income tax credits and sales and use tax exemptions for specific business investments.
- Local governments and nonprofits may establish contribution projects to support economic development goals.
- Taxpayers who contribute to enterprise zone projects may earn income tax credits.
Businesses must pre-certify to take advantage of the credits available through the program. While a majority of Louisville is now located within the zone, small portions were not eligible for inclusion.
