Help guide the future of Parks, Open Space, Trails, Recreation & Senior Center, Coal Creek Golf Course!Have you received your postcard in the mail?Do you have thoughts about open space, outdoor recreation amenities, playgrounds, trails, native plants, public land acquisition, park shelters, multi-use fields, dog parks, mowing, trail connections, weeds, or anything else open space and parks related? Now is the time to share your input! The Parks, Recreation & Open Space (PROS) Department is creating a new Guidebook to shape the future of Louisville’s Parks, Open Spaces, Trails, Recreation & Senior Center, and Coal Creek Golf Course. Public input is essential. To get it right, we need to hear from the people who live, work, play, walk, bike, gather, and explore here—that means you. How to get involved:Take the Survey- Louisville Households: You should have received a postcard in the mail with a unique code for you to take our statistically valid survey.
- Non-Residents: a link to a non-statistically valid survey will be posted on the website October 8.

Bee Hotels Arrive in LouisvilleAs part of Louisville’s designation as a Bee City USA® affiliate, we’ve installed six new bee hotels across Louisville. These special structures provide solitary bees with a safe place to nest, shelter in the winter, and escape predators—helping to support healthy pollinator populations right here in our community. |
