City of Louisville hosting first of two open houses at 101 S. Taylor Ave property on Saturday, April 11
Louisville residents are invited to participate in upcoming open house events at 101 South Taylor Avenue, a property currently being considered for purchase by City Council. The first open house will be held this coming Saturday, April 11 from 9:30–11:30 a.m., with a second open house set for Wednesday, April 22 from 5:30–7:30 p.m.
These open houses are an opportunity for residents to tour the property and ask any questions they may have.
In March, Louisville's City Council entered into an agreement for the purchase of the 7.96-acre property and 56,000 square foot building. The purchase agreement includes a due diligence period, during which the City is gathering input from the community before Council decides whether to complete the purchase. The City Council would like to understand the community's thoughts on the purchase so they can make an informed decision on whether or not to move forward with this purchase.
All community members are invited to complete a general survey which will launch on Friday, April 10. The survey will be available via the Engage Louisville website. We'll send out another email when it's live.
The City has also contracted with a professional polling firm to poll a demographically representative sample of the community. Select community members will receive an invite via text message in the coming days to participate in the representative survey. If you have questions about the authenticity of a text message invitation, please contact us at PIO@LouisvilleCO.gov.
Residents can also ask questions and submit comments via Engage Louisville.
