City Council Meeting agenda preview

Here's a preview of what Council will be discussing this week:

  • An ordinance removing 811 Walnut Street from the Old Town overlay and adding it to the boundaries of Downtown Louisville, following a rezoning from Residential Medium Density to Commercial Community that was approved in 2025
  • An ordinance to establish a Business Assistance Program (BAP) for small businesses and change approval thresholds for BAP agreements
  • Review of a financial analysis of the City's potential purchase of the 101 South Taylor Avenue property, and potential direction to staff about whether or not to continue exploring the purchase
  • A resolution approving an amendment to the Louisville Mill Site Redevelopment Planned Unit Development (Grain Elevator property) and approving a Special Review Use for an outdoor eating establishment and mobile food court
  • A resolution approving a Preservation and Restoration grant and a New Construction grant for the Grain Elevator at 540 County Road
  • An ordinance which would provide a limited allowance for short-term rentals during and around the Sundance Film Festival, as well as a resolution establishing an application fee and eligible dates for temporary short-term rentals in 2027

City Council considers written and oral comments equally. Email comments to Council received by 3 p.m. the date of the meeting will be included in the Council addendum and provided to each council member prior to the meeting. If you prefer to address Council in person, you may attend the meeting either in person or virtually.
