First Friday: Live Music, Art Market, Take & Make CraftsFriday, April 3 | 5–7 p.m. | Louisville Public Library First Fridays are back in downtown Louisville on the first Friday of the month. Experience the pulse of downtown after hours with an evening of curated shopping, vibrant art, and local eats all set to a live soundtrack. It's more than a night out! Make the Library your first stop! With the first floor open for two extra hours, there's plenty of time to soak it all in: live music and an art market showcasing talented artists from the East Boulder County Art Association. Families can pick up a Take and Make craft and build their own bird feeder to take home, while art lovers can browse original works and connect with local creators. There's something for everyone, so come curious and stay a while! One Year Later: A Fresh Chapter for Our LibraryA year ago, we temporarily closed our doors to give the library a little extra care. With new carpet underfoot and freshly painted walls, the library feels brighter, cozier, and ready for a fresh chapter. We have loved seeing you return, settling into your favorite spots, discovering new ones, and making the space your own again. This refresh was about more than just updates; it was about caring for a place that means so much to our community. We are incredibly thankful to our staff, Blue Spruce Construction Services, Amanda Fox from Markley Designs, and our dedicated facilities crew for making it all happen! |

Calling All Local Businesses! The Louisville Public Library's annual Local Business Scavenger Hunt is back, offering an exciting opportunity to boost foot traffic and community engagement during this year's Summer Reading Challenge. Last year, over 2,100 participants visited local businesses, creating a vibrant connection between our library and local businesses. Don't miss out — register by Thursday, April 30, to be part of this community-wide event! |
