City of Louisville 4th of July

Your guide to Louisville's 4th of July Celebrations and Fireworks

Saturday, July 4 • 6–10 p.m.
Coal Creek Golf Course, 585 West Dillon Road

The City of Louisville celebrates the 4th of July with live music, tasty treats, family-friendly fun and, best of all, a grand finale fireworks display at the end of the evening! In recognition of America's 250th birthday this year, we will be adding a little bit of extra flair to all these traditional holiday activities.

We hope that you will join the Louisville community for America's 250th Independence Day celebration! We strongly encourage everyone who plans to attend to read through the event transportation information below.

You can access our event map at this link for a detailed look at our lay out and event offerings!

We would like to extend a special thank you to the Walter Rhoades American Legion Post 111 for their support of this event and for always putting on a spectacular fireworks display!

Fireworks

The decision of when and whether to shoot fireworks will be made by the Fire Chief.

If wind, weather, or a fire ban prevents a fireworks show on July 4, the fireworks will be safely stored for a reschedule date.

Fireworks will be launched from the Coal Creek Golf Course driving range. You can view fireworks from the sidewalks and tee boxes at the driving range. Please do not enter any part of the Golf Course except for the designated viewing area.

Personal fireworks are prohibited in Louisville.

Within Louisville city limits, all fireworks including sparklers and fireworks on the ground, are prohibited. In the state of Colorado, all fireworks that leave the ground or explode are illegal in Colorado (with the exception of permitted, professional displays). By not using fireworks, you help prevent the risk of fire in our community and keep the 4th of July enjoyable for neighbors and pets.

If you have any questions, please contact the Louisville Fire Protection District by email Info@LouisvilleFire.com or phone 303-666-6595. In an emergency, always dial 911.

Louisville's 4th of July Fireworks is presented by the City of Louisville with additional fireworks support from the American Legion Walter Rhoades Post 111.
