Free Outdoor Mission for Kids and Families!

A self-guided outdoor adventure that turns a walk around Harper Lake into a learning experience.

From July 20 until August 31 families can explore Harper Lake with Kiki the Kestrel and complete Louisville’s new Fishing Mission through the free Agents of Discovery App. Follow the interactive map, complete challenges, and learn about the fish and natural environment around the lake.

The app uses augmented reality (AR) to turn outdoor spaces into hands-on learning adventures for kids and families. It is available in English and Spanish and includes accessibility features such as text-to-speech, color-blind support, and a neurodivergent-friendly design. How to Participate Download the free Agents of Discovery App. Select Search Missions and search for Louisville, Colorado. Download the mission before visiting Harper Lake. Explore the area and complete each challenge. Players can also try Louisville's Wayfinding Mission.

Colorado is Exploring With Us!

Louisville is one of several communities across the state hosting missions this summer, alongside Colorado Parks and Wildlife, Douglas County, Castle Rock Parks and Trails Foundation, and the Bureau of Land Management. One app, adventures all across Colorado.

Participants who complete missions while logged in may be eligible for campaign prizes. The Colorado Explorer Campaign runs through August 31, 2026.
