This dinner is hosted in recognition of Louisville's seniors, who give so much throughout the year to make Louisville a special place to live and work. Louisville Lens Opening Reception

As members of a small community, Louisville residents share many of the same spaces and routines daily. And yet, we all experience Louisville a little differently. Our general life experiences and our specific emotions each day allow each of us to see Louisville through our own 'lens.'
For this exhibit, the City of Louisville and Big Heart Film photographer Megan Sweeney worked with 22 Louisville residents of all ages and backgrounds to collect 22 perspectives on Louisville in the form of footage from disposable cameras. Vintage Baseball

Come root for the Louisville Miners at this free vintage baseball game! This showdown will feature historic uniforms, equipment, and game rules. Bring the whole family to enjoy America’s pastime with cracker jacks, historic reenactors, and live music from the Brassaholics. The first 300 guests will receive free t-shirts to show their team spirit, and Rocket Dogs will be selling hotdogs throughout the game.
History Happy Hour: Baseball and Brews with Kurt Wells

Join Kurt Wells, the head of the Rocky Mountain Society for Baseball Research, as he explores the history of Colorado-born and/or raised baseball players that reached the major leagues, including in-depth coverage of Louisville’s own Bert Niehoff and other Boulder County players. Registration is required.

 | Historic PropertyAtkin House
1101 Grant Ave. This home was in the Atkin family for almost 70 years, from 1915-1984. It was constructed circa 1905 by Samuel and Mattie Barrett on four lots and then purchased in 1915 by Samuel and Olive Atkin. Samuel was the son of William and Margaret Atkin, who were early settlers of Louisville from England as early as 1885. Samuel Atkin was a foreman at the Rex Mine and his father, William, was the superintendent there. The wrap-around porch is not original to the house, but was added prior to the 1948 assessment. Aside from living space being added in the attic, this house has maintained strong architectural integrity.
