CO Connector (CoCo) Train Updates
Colorado is making significant progress toward bringing passenger rail back to the Front Range. Through the Front Range Passenger Rail (FRPR) project, communities from Pueblo to Fort Collins are working toward a more connected transportation future, with initial passenger rail service planned as early as 2029. CoCo, short for Colorado Connector, will be the future passenger train serving the corridor, providing a new travel option in the I-25 corridor and connecting people to jobs, recreation, education, and each other. Nearly 26,000 Coloradans helped choose the CoCo name through a statewide contest. As a public engagement partner, Commuting Solutions is helping build awareness and public support across the Northwest Metro region—where four of five local governments have adopted resolutions supporting Joint Service implementation.
