BVSD hosting community engagement sessions on declining enrollment

Like many other school districts in Colorado and across the nation, the Boulder Valley School District continues to face declining enrollment. Over the next two weeks, BVSD is hosting a series of community engagement sessions focused on the challenges of declining enrollment.

The sixth and final session is set for Wednesday, April 22 from 6:30–9 p.m. at Monarch High School in Louisville, but everyone is invited to attend any session that works for your schedule.

These sessions are your opportunity to learn more about the complexities of how declining enrollment — and the associated reduction in funding — is showing up in local schools, to help BVSD understand your values and priorities, and to provide your thoughts about the options BVSD and the Board of Education is considering.

To learn more about what to expect at these community engagement sessions, visit the BVSD website. If you plan to attend, please let BVSD know via this form.
