When I first stumbled upon The Rush Coffee at a regatta in San Diego, I was instantly drawn to its brand, menu, and tagline. It felt familiar — like home. Growing up, our kitchen table was always surrounded by neighbors, friends, and family, each with a hot cup of coffee in hand. No steamed milk, no foam, no fancy names — just simple, delicious drip coffee. Coffee, to me, has always been more than a beverage. It’s a connector. It brings people together — in good times and hard times, through economic ups and downs, and across every background and belief. Coffee knows no boundaries of race, color, or politics. That sense of connection and community is exactly what inspired me to bring The Rush Coffee to life in my own community.
