RULES

• All entries must use lights as part of the entry.
• Use of music is encouraged.
• No one may be dressed as Santa Claus.
• No candy may be tossed/handed to spectators; do not encourage spectators to approach vehicles.
• No dirt bikes or motor bikes allowed.
• No one under 18 may walk alongside a motorized unit; minors must ride and remain on the float.
• Height restrictions apply; oversized vehicles must contact the Chamber in advance.
• No entry into the alleys / no access to alley.

• Lineup is 5:30–6:30pm on South Street between Main Street & Lincoln Avenue. South Street will be closed, but cross streets will remain open for you to access your starting position. 
• You will be emailed your cross street and line up position 1 week before the parade.
• 6:45:  All parade participants must be lined up.
• 7:00: parade begins.
• Parade starts promptly at 7:00pm.
• Route: Start South St & Main St, proceed south on Main, end at Parkview St.
• Route End: Walking groups: continue past the Elks to Parkview St, turn right on Parkview.
• Route End: Motorized units: continue to Parkview St, turn left on Parkview to disperse.  

Waiver & Indemnification *

I, as the above-listed participant, expressly understand and agree that neither the City of Louisville, the Louisville Chamber of Commerce, nor any of their officers, agents, volunteers, assistants, or employees shall be held responsible or made the subject of any claim seeking to assess damage or liability for, or arising from, personal injury or property damage, whether resulting from negligence of the City, its officers, agents, volunteers, assistants, or employees, as a result of the actual or proposed participation of any participant in this event. I further agree to indemnify and hold the City of Louisville and the Louisville Chamber of Commerce, their officers, agents, volunteers, assistants, employees, and event sponsors harmless on account of such claim. I consent to the Chamber using photos/video of my entry for marketing and promotion.
